Creating your RefDesk account

Registration Page Overview

The Registration page allows new referees to create an account with the RefDesk system. Please fill out all required fields accurately.

Personal Information
  • First Name & Last Name: Your legal first and last names.
  • Username: A unique name you will use to log in. Usernames are case-insensitive (e.g., "Rick" and "rick" are treated the same).
  • Email Address: Your primary email for notifications and account recovery.
  • Phone Number: Your mobile phone number for SMS notifications and password resets.
  • Birth Date: Your date of birth.
  • Gender: Your gender.
PCO Information
  • PCO Province: The province where your Pickleball Canada Organization (PCO) membership is registered.
  • PCO Number: Your unique PCO membership number. This is validated against the PCO database to confirm your membership status.
Credentials
  • Credentials: Select your current referee certification level (e.g., Trainee, L1, L2, CR).
Password
  • Password: Choose a strong password that is at least 8 characters long and includes at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.
  • Confirm Password: Re-enter your password to ensure it matches.
Troubleshooting Registration
  • Existing User: If you receive a message that your username, email, or phone number already exists, it means you might already have an account. Try logging in or using the "Forgot Password?" feature.
  • PCO Validation Failed: Ensure your PCO information (First Name, Last Name, Birth Date, Gender, PCO Province, and PCO Number) exactly matches the details on your official Pickleball Canada membership.
  • Password Requirements: Make sure your password meets all the complexity requirements listed.
